I'm constrained for time now, but request that you revert the edits to the Main Page and instead propose them. Since it is public-facing, we generally only do significant changes to the Main Page by making a new version, such as Main Page/2008-10 and Main Page/2008-08 and then telling the Startup list server about them. If there is consensus (or at least consent), then we go ahead and replace the Main Page.
Also, I was planning on proposing a new revision to the Main Page soon in order to pull in the broader concepts proposed in Startup/Organization/Proposal_2. Though of course anyone is welcome to start work on that. — Ed Pastore 23:17, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and I forgot to say... welcome to the project! I appreciate your enthusiasm. Also appreciate your understanding in regard to the home page. Have you joined the list server yet? — Ed Pastore 23:36, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Done (with regard to the main page) and thanks. Have joined both lists. My immediate suggestion is to consider logarithmic voting (mentioned below) rather than linear so as to map to the intuitive value of the human body rather than use a purely abstract voting system. --Marcos 01:16, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I am glad you like them. Is your pseud a Castaneda reference by chance? Wikademia
- Ha! Yes it is. Might YOU be someone who frequented the nagual.net chat room years when it was in operation?
